General Terms & Conditions of Sale
The products purchased on www.swansandsoldiers.com (the Website) are sold by Swans & Soldiers SAGL, with registered office at Via Quiete 9, 6900 Lugano, Switzerland. Tax code number CHE-474.423.619.
A contract of sale between us and the customer is concluded only after the customer has placed the order on our Website, has paid for it, has received an e-mail confirmation from us stating that we accepted the order and another e-mail stating that the product was shipped.
After having ordered any product from our Website and having paid for it, the customer will receive a first e-mail stating that the order has been received. A second e-mail will be sent to the customer stating if the order was accepted or not. A third e-mail, that triggers the contract of sale, will be sent as soon as the order has been processed and the product shipped. The third e-mail includes a shipment tracking number and the details of the carrier.
We reserve the right not to accept orders without disclosing the reasons. Should an order not be accepted, Swans & Soldiers SAGL will refund the amount of the transaction, deducted administrative fees and expenses, within 30 days. The amount of fees and expenses may vary and will be communicated to the customer per e-mail.
We retain the right not to accept orders from customers we believe to be under the age of 18. We reserve the right not to accept orders from customers we believe are traders and purchase the product(s) in order to resell them. We do not accept orders to be delivered to P:O:BOX addresses. We deliver to almost any country.
The prices shown on the Website are in CHF, EUR, USD and can vary. Once a contract of sale has been concluded, the price cannot change. We accept payments in CHF, EUR and USD.
All the prices shown do not include the Swiss VAT, that will not be added to the price as we are not obliged to pay it. As soon as we will be entitled to pay the VAT, the prices on our Website will include it and this will be shown.
The product(s) can be paid by credit/debit card, PayPal and though bank transfer. The prices shown do not include shipment costs. These will be shown when the customer places an order and proceeds to the payment. Please be aware that for deliveries to non Swiss addresses, you could be required by your local authorities to pay for the local VAT, other taxes and custom’s duties.
We do as much as possible to make the Website secure. All credit/debit card transactions are processed using STRIPE, a secure online payment gateway using encryption technology in a safe host environment. The data related to credit/debit cards will be securely stored on STRIPE. This data will be used only to process the purchase orders and the refunds. In order to guarantee that the data of the credit/debit cards will not be used without the consent of the cardholders, those will be placed through facilities by STRIPE. For refunds we use the same payment method the customer used to pay for the product(s).
We do not ship incomplete products nor damaged ones. At the delivery time, the customer is responsible to check that the package they are signing for, is not damaged. Should this be damaged, then report it on the delivery note. Upon delivery, the customer is responsible to check id the product(s) are damaged or incomplete and report it immediately to us in said case. For these purpose please use email@example.com. Once the customer signs for the delivery of the package, he’s fully responsible for the product(s).
The representation of the product(s) on the Website is not a binding offer but an online catalog without commitment. The products displayed on the Website could slightly differ from the one to be delivered, in terms of color, dimension and shape. The difference in color can be due to the hardware used to visualize the product and the light under which the Website is watched. The small difference in dimensions and shape are due to the impossibility to produce identical products. In the assembly of some of our products we use real feathers from non endangered species and the product delivered may slightly differ from the ones displayed on the Website.
